It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the peaceful passing on of Prof. Samuel Mutwiri Arimi, formely of University of Nairobi, College of Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences on the early morning of 17th of April, 2022 in Nairobi.

He was the loving son of the late M’arimi and the late Mary Mwitu M’Arimi. Beloved husband to Damaris Kairuthi Mutwiri. Father to Mary Mwendwa, Timothy Murithi and Leah Mutugi. Father-in-law to Kelvin Mutugi.

Son-in-law to the late Peter M’IManene and the late Janet M’Imanene. Brother to Jane Kanugu, Catherine Muthoni Kimathi, Gladys Mwari, Samson Kithinji, Esther Mugito, Daniel Muriungi and Elizabeth Mbaya. Brother-in-law to Gladys Mbogori, Joan Mwiti, Naftali Mworia, Bertha Mwari, Beatrice Munyua, Erastus Muriuki, the late William Mbaya, Patrick Kimathi, Hellen Kithinji, Mbaya Nabea and Rosemary Muriungi. A treasured uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, teacher and mentor to many.

Prayer meetings are taking place daily at their Runda home, Nairobi, from 4.00pm. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 27th April, 2022 at the Lavington United Church, Nairobi, starting 2.00pm

The funeral service will take place at Ndagene Secondary School, Meru, on 29th April, 2022 from 10.00am. He will thereafter be laid to rest at his Mikumbune home.

Death and Funeral Announcement: Dr David Martin Muinde

The Board and Management of Kenya Veterinary Association (KVA) and Kenya Veterinary Board (KVB) regrets to announce the untimely death of Dr. David Martin Muinde which occurred on 13th November 2020. He worked as a Senior Registration Officer at the Kenya Veterinary Board. 

He was husband to Dr. Florence Nzisa Nzwili Muinde; father to Maria, Mercy, Peter and Onesmus. Father in law to the late Tony and grandfather to Shane.

He was the Son of the late Martin Ndwiwa and late Elizabeth Ngina of Kaumoni village in Makueni County.

Family and friends are meeting at his residence in Syokimau. His remains will be interred on Saturday 21st November, 2020 at Kaumoni Village, Makueni County.
